Bronze Cypress Ring

Sculpture cast in Bronze using the lost wax method. Sculpture was made from wet clay starting with a hand formed vase made on the potters wheel, with individually sculpted heron attached to the vase. Carved and attached reeds surround the base of the vase. The bisqued clay piece was then molded in dense plastic latex then poured with wax. The wax cast was then molded in plaster and liquid bronze was poured in the mold.
